Fred Solomon

In 1967, Fred joined Solomon Ross Grey
& Company, LLP., specializing in auditing and taxation. In 1970,
Fred became a partner and since that time has been managing engagements
in auditing, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence
reviews and income tax planning. His experience includes auditing and
income tax planning in the fields of manufacturing, wholesale
distribution, medical services, legal services and real estate. Fred's
real estate industry engagements include transactions totaling in
excess of $500,000,000, working with such companies as American
Express, VMS Partners, Trust Company of the West, Great West Life
Assurance Company and Southern California-Arizona Glaziers pension
plan. Fred has also acted as a member of the board of directors for
various non-profit corporations.
Education: BS in Accounting, San Diego State University.
Post-graduate courses in business and accounting at UCLA.

Stuart
Ross stuart@srgco.com
Stu has over 48 years of experience in
the field of taxation, including over six years as an Internal Revenue
Agent with the U.S. Treasury Department. Stu joined Solomon Ross Grey
and Company, LLP in 1968, becoming a partner in January, 1971. He has
significant experience in all areas of taxation, including tax
planning, compliance and advocacy for corporation, individual, and
partnership income taxes and estate and gift taxes. He is a frequent
lecturer on tax planning to various professional groups. In controversy
matters, Stu has an outstanding working relationship with the IRS and
the FTB. Stu has successfully represented a wide variety of clients
before the collections, examination and appeals levels of the IRS, FTB,
EDD, County Assessor and City of LA Business Tax Departments, and has
successfully negotiated offers-in-compromise and favorable installment
payment arrangements when needed.
Stu has served
on the Taxation Committee for the Los Angeles Chapter of the California
CPA Society for the past 13 years and serves as its past Chair, having
served as its Chair for a 3 year term.
He serves on the Federal and State Liaison Sub-Committees and
the CPA Tax Help Line. He also
serves on the steering committee for Tax Night, an annual joint
educational event of California CPA Society and the Taxation Section of
the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Stu was appointed and has served on the Statewide Committee on
Taxation of the California CPA Society for the past 8 years and
actively participates in liaisons at a statewide level with management
of the IRS and the FTB and enjoys a strong personal relationship with
the top executives at both the IRS and FTB. Stu also serves the statewide
committee in regular discussions of pertinent topics involving taxation
issues on both the Federal and state level and legislative affairs
involving both current laws and pending legislation.
Education: BS, UCLA in Business Administration, accounting
emphasis.

of CPAs, lifetime member of California Society of CPAs, active member
of Taxation committee for the Los Angeles Chapter of the California CPA

Andrew Grey

Drew started his public accounting
career at Ernst and Whinney in 1978, where he was an audit and tax
manager servicing a diversified client base. In 1984, Drew joined a
real estate company, where he served as Controller and later Senior
Vice President, responsible for computer systems, accounting and financing.
The company grew from $2,000,000 to $250,000,000 during Drew's tenure.
He joined Solomon Ross Grey and Company in 1987 and became partner in
1988. Drew is responsible for providing service to a diverse clientele
including real estate, manufacturing, telecommunication, entertainment
and service companies. In addition to his tenure as Controller and
Senior VP for the real estate company, Drew's business experience also
includes serving as CFO of a publicly traded telecommunications
company, and as CEO of a consumer products company.
Education: B.S. University of California at Berkeley majoring in
accounting and finance, attended Masters of Business Taxation program
at University of Southern California.

Brian Gourlay brian@srgco.com
Brian began his accounting career in 1984
with Grobstein, Horwath and Company, LLP, where he worked primarily in
the areas of manufacturing and real estate. He joined Solomon Ross Grey
& Company in 1989 as senior tax manager and became a partner of the
firm in 1994. Brian's current emphasis is flow-through entities
(partnerships, limited liability companies and S corporations) and
estate planning.
Brian has lectured extensively in the field of taxation and has served
as a quoted tax authority in the Los Angeles Times and San Fernando
Valley Business Journal. He administers the technical development
programs for our firm, ensuring that our staff is continuously
reviewing and updating their knowledge of tax issues relevant to our
client base.
Education: Bachelor of Science - Accounting, Master of Science -
Taxation, California State University, Northridge.
Professional Affiliations: Vice President of Professional
Development and Director of Programs for the National Association of
Accountants. American Institute of CPAs, California Society of CPAs,

Danita
Espiritu neth@srgco.com
Danita joined Solomon Ross Grey &
Company in 1998 as a senior manager, and became a partner in 2005,
overseeing a broad range of complex tax and consulting accounting
engagements. She has over 15 years of public accounting experience, and
has practiced as a CPA since 1995. Over the years, Danita has served as
both senior tax and audit manager for clients in a wide variety of
industries, including wholesale and retail distribution, construction,
manufacturing, real estate, auctions, auto appraisal, health services
including hospice care organizations and personal services. Danita also
has extensive experience in computer consulting, software conversions,
working with a number of accounting and tax software packages,
including MAS 90, Business Works, PeachTree, QuickBooks, CYMA, Lacerte,
and ProSystem FX.
Danita treats
her clients like family and her family always comes first.
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration
with concentration in Accounting at the University of the East,
Philippines.
Professional Affiliations: American Institute of Certified

Tina Lazaroff

Tina began her public accounting
career as a manager at a large local Los Angeles firm in 1992. There
she served a diversified clientele, from retail, garment, and
manufacturing firms to food brokerage, real estate and non-profit
organizations. She later joined a consulting firm which provided controller,
CFO, and banking relations services to companies in Silicon Valley.
There she focused primarily on turnaround projects, guiding clients
through workout agreements, debt restructuring and venture capital
funding. She joined Solomon Ross Grey in early 1999 as a senior
manager, and became a partner in 2005. Tina serves a broad range of
clients in audit, tax and consulting engagements.
Education: Bachelor's of Science, California State University,
Northridge, 1992.

Philip
Marshall phil@srgco.com
Philip has 16 years of experience in public
accounting, practicing in the Pasadena and Los Angeles areas. He has
experience in virtually every area of taxation, including individuals,
trusts and estates, partnerships, limited liability companies, and
corporations. Philip has served a broad range of clients, ranging from
real estate developments, contractors, and manufacturers, to
professionals and nonprofit organizations. He joined Solomon Ross Grey
& Company in 2000 as a senior tax manager and became a partner in
2009. His responsibilities include
research into technical tax matters, review and supervision of tax
compliance work, and management of clients. Philip is a cat person.
Education: Bachelor of Science, California State University,
Northridge, Summa cum Laude. Master of Science in Taxation,
California State University, Northridge.

Sheri
Grossberg sheri@srgco.com
Sheri Grossberg
has been providing accounting and tax services to privately held
companies since 1996. Sheri also specializes in franchise and 401(k)
audit services and attends the AICPA national conference annually. She
is a leader in audit procedure development and 401(k) audit techniques.
Sheri is actively involved in recruiting new professional staff to the
firm and in continuing training.
Throughout her career, she has served clients in a wide variety of
industries, including manufacturing, technology, telecommunications,
mortgage banking, franchises, and product distribution. Prior to
joining SRG in 2007, Sheri honed her audit and taxation specialties at
a large local firm of approximately 120 people. She adds value for her
clients by understanding their business from both an accounting and tax
perspective. Sheri also consults with start up companies and
helps them to implement accounting policies, procedures, reporting and
compliance issues. Sheri became
a partner in 2009.
She
is also a Member At Large of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts
of the San Fernando Valley. Recently, Sheri was honored by the SF
Valley Business Journal as a “Woman Who Means Business”. The
award recognizes the accomplishments and community involvement of women
in the San Fernando Valley. She was also recognized by the SF Valley
Business Journal as a “40 under 40” recipient.
Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the
University of California, Los Angeles
